That he missed the game winner in regulation was a bit of a shock. Cortez answered in over time though, coming threw with a chip shot. The special teams is clearly still struggling, and now that Cortez has missed two more kicks, we don’t really know how the rest of his season will go. The 49ers will need him to bounce back for next week.
The 49ers forced a fumble on a punt, and Williams had a few nice run backs. This group still needs improvements, but they are improving - gosh I was sweating it out when Cortez missed the first game winner.
