This week the 49ers had linebacker Terry Killens in for a workout. The special teams stand out, and versatile backup is a former 49er that was allowed to go this off-season.
Killens was not on a team for the final regular season game and is thus eligible to sign with a playoff club. He would certainly help the 49ers struggling special teams units and the 49ers could very well present him with a contract offer. Stay tuned.
