40 Time: ~4.8 seconds
Vertical Jump: ~33 and 1/8 inches

College Highlights:
A team captain at college, Mark really excelled in his senior year. Playing tight end, he was pivotal in the run game, and provided a big target for his receiver. Mark was also a solid contributor on special teams coverage units. Showed very solid hands against a game versus Michigan State.
Role With 49ers:
The 49ers are set at starting tight end with Eric Johnson. But Johnson is not a strong blocker. Anelli gives the team someone to really push Justin Swift. Anelli is huge at 6'4, 265, and he will be crucial in 49ers short yardage situations.
Quotes To Note:
"He's a great combination player who blocks well at the line of scrimmage and can get in the open field and make plays in the passing game," said tight ends coach Tom Batta.
Injury History:
There has been no doubt cast on Anelli's medical status.
